Xeproof is an efficient Web based work flow management system for pre-production approval of artworks. It would work virtually in real-time, in a specified manner incorporating all divisions, external agencies or suppliers. When number of artwork increases, the cost and manageability turns a major challenge. The ability to track the review of comments and effective collaboration between the users are prime concerns. An email based workflow has many limitations to track and trace, reporting and not an alternative to a proper workflow management.
XEPROOF is an Online Artwork Approval solution for all complexities exsists in artwork management. It is a platform to manage approval process of Artworks, but extends beyond with many interesting features. It allows to initiate a brief (create work order) compiling instructions from all divisions. The divisions can fill in their own instructions before initiating. It allows to communicate clear instructions to designers.Initiators can attach reference files or engineering diagrams to the artwork. Initiator set the deadlines to the agency, emails goes to all users connected with. A job well initiated can assure the best creative quality and lesser revisions to approve.
Ad Agency or 'Designer' can either accept or ask questions about, the same questions goes back to the Initiators/Approvers for answers. Agency gets satisfied by the brief, it accepts with deadlines for first proof and final delivery estimate. Agencyuploads a PDF of designed artowork, approvers predefined from various divisions like Brand, Legal, R&D, Manufacturing.
Approvers can follow a sequential, parellel or mixed flow. The proofing is highly flexible with tools to comment like they do on a hardcopy proof. It has tools to annotate, highlight, draw shapes, magnify, grid view to check alignments, measuring tools. The proofing section is powered by latest technologies, combining the Adobe Flash capabilities and XML integration. Approvers can review and send for revisions or approve an artwork by filling a checklist.
The online cycle allows parellel review, collaboration and multiple reviews, saving precious effort and money to circulate proofs back and forth. It has the advantage of a real time workflow, leading to speedy response to tasks, responsibility sharing.
